Meardon, Sueppel & Downer P.L.C. represents the Iowa League of Cities to which nearly all cities and towns within the State of Iowa belong. In connection with that representation, it not only advises the League but also member cities on municipal law matters. In addition, the firm is City Attorney to several towns and small cities in Eastern Iowa. It also represents a number of cities and counties throughout Iowa in connection with collective bargaining and related issues. Further, the firm is regularly involved throughout the State representing cities, counties and Civil Service Commissions in litigation concerning a variety of municipal law matters.
